Slingshot Memphis is a center of influence for setting off a poverty fighting movement with intent to help and empower all Memphians. They help equip the right people with the right resources to better strengthen the poverty-fighting effectiveness of our community. RISE Memphis: Realizing Income Stability and Empowerment

RISE Memphis is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization with a mission to improve the community by offering access to financial literacy tools and incentives to assist families in need with building assets and making more secure financial choices. RISE Empowers people to become self-sufficient by building and maintaining human and financial assets. They look to transform the financial well-being of low-income working people, and by extension, improve the community.

GROWWTH: Growing Relational and Occupational Wealth in West Tennessee Households

GROWWTH is an organization out of University of Memphis that is dedicated to removing barriers that far too many families in West Tennessee face. They are an initiative to address the needs of low-income families, and over the last few years since 2022 have been able to shift from planning, to action. Their services focus on areas such as:
-Financial Assistance and Career Development
-Family Wellness
-Transportation Solutions
-Childcare Support
